  Dr. Syed Anwar

  Board Certified in Psychiatry

  Dr. Syed Anwar graduated from medical school at Osmania Medical College in 1978. He completed an internship at Osmania General Hospital in 1979. He completed his transitional internship at Detroit Macomb Hospital in Michigan in 1985. He subsequently went on to complete his residency in Psychiatry at Norwich State Hospital in Connecticut in 1988. Dr. Syed Anwar has been board certified in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology since 1993. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association which is a high honor given to psychiatrists who have made significant contributions to the medical profession.
